This program is the first Tamhidi Centre program  in which focusing on the scope of  general  'Convention' rather than a 'Seminar'. This is as to prioritize and to be more specific on topics which were selected for the purposes of the needs in discussing and sharing educational activities or matters. 
Islamic Sciences Convention (KONGSI '15) was first held on October 29, 2015 (Thursday) at the Chancellery Gallery, Ground Floor, Chancellery Building, USIM. The convention was attended by number of academician from university, schools and students namely; the Principal or Headmaster of the USIM's Cluster Schools, USIM's Academic and Administration Staff, Higher Education Academician and Students.
KONGSI 15 was inaugurated  by The Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic and International of USIM, Professor Dr. Zulkiple Abd Ghani  and accompanied by the Director of the Tamhidi Centre, Dr. Mohamed Akhiruddin bin Ibrahim together with The Principal of  Maahad Hamidiah, Madam. Wan  Yaacob Ruhayah. 
Hence, in order to keep forward towards becoming the global reference university; this convention is to be continued. It is essential as it would be an opportunity to introduce the pillar of USIM's education curriculum, which is the integration of 'Aqli and Naqli knowledge to the international level. This program received positive feedback as seeks to emphasize and share the areas of education, as well as research that are meaningful towards the challenges and needs in the academia world. 
It is hoped that this convention could be a platform to gain knowledge as well as inspire and ignite the integration of; religious sciences together with the social and physical sciences in all other knowledge, that provides a comprehensive understanding of current global problems and offers a fresh alternative for academician in solving them.
